Meet Our Management Team
Senior Management
Mark K Maloney
Mark is responsible for the day to day management of The MAC and also sits on its board of directors. He has been a director of the group since its inception and has been heavily involved in its development.
Prior to this position Mark was Chief Executive Officer of Tulla Group, the Maloney family's private holding company. In this position he was responsible for the groups businesses which were involved across a variety of industries including Resources, Transport, Food, Investment and Property. Mark also has 15 years experience in financial markets, having held senior management positions with JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs in both London and Sydney.
Chris H Jury
Chis is responsible for business development and the long term development of The MAC's client base. Chris joined The MAC in April 2006 as Chief Operating Officer of The MAC's Accommodation Division. In April 2008 he was promoted to General Manager, Business Development. Prior to joining The MAC Chris spent 11 years working in the mining industry, specialising in human resources management. During his period with BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Coal Alliance (BMA Coal), he had direct responsibility for the company's accommodation requirements in the Bowen Basin.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is CPA qualified.
Richard H Saunders
Richard is responsible for the management of The MAC’s corporate services which cover finance, treasury, taxation, investment evaluation and risk management. He has an extensive financial and advisory background. Richard has been associated with The MAC for the past 15 years as accountant and advisor, and for two years as the Independent Auditor.
Formerly with KPMG before becoming a partner of a Sydney-based accounting practice, Irish & Saunders. Richard has over 20 years of experience in the accountancy profession.
Richard is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia, Company Auditor and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNSW.
Stephen L Law
Stephen is Company Secretary and Legal Counsel and has responsibility for all legal matters, regulatory compliance and contract management.
Stephen has 25 years’ experience as Corporate Counsel/Company Secretary specialising in corporate and administrative management of small and medium sized publicly listed companies. He has been involved in capital raising, prospectus preparation, capital reconstructions and asset acquisitions/disposals.
Stephen is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and a Fellow of the Australian Insurance Institute.
Andrew W Maloney
Andrew has been with the group for more than 7 years and has accumulated extensive experience across a variety of senior management roles including development, project management, manufacturing and maintenance.
Andrew established the Project Management & Construction Division and has grown it into a business that currently has a turnover in excess of $60 million. Under his direction the Company has delivered a number of successful mining accommodation developments. Andrew has been instrumental in creating the high quality product unique to the The MAC Services Group.
Prior to joining The MAC, Andrew held numerous roles in both the development and construction industry. He holds a Bachelor of Building Construction Management (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney.
Lesley Jolly
Lesley is responsible for the overall HR strategy of The MAC covering areas such as recruitment, remuneration, organisational development and employment law.
Formerly 10 years with the Swiss engineering group ABB, as Executive Manager, Human Resources, Lesley has also worked in the transport, airline, banking and finance sectors.
Lesley holds a Bachelor of Economics (Social Science), a Masters of Labour Law from Sydney University and a Masters of Management from Macquarie University. She is FAHRI qualified.
Jim Horder
Jim is responsible for developing The MAC’s ongoing strategic expansion plans. He has over 25 years’ experience in senior management in merchant banking and government. His main specialties are in project and industry evaluation, project financing, and asset acquisitions and disposals in a range of industries including the mining industry. He holds a Bachelor of Economics, an MBA, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Rachel Maloney
Rachel is responsible for Marketing & Communications of The MAC Group including: branding, advertising, sponsorship, events and internal and external communications. Rachel joined The MAC in February 2006 as Corporate Relations Manager and in April 2008 was promoted to General Manager, Marketing & Communications.
Rachel has 9 years experience in sales, marketing and management positions. She has previously worked in the education, recruitment and customer service industries.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Education from Macquarie University.
Rod Cunningham
Rod is responsible for the overall management of The MAC’s Accommodation Division including the day-to-day operation of the respective Village facilities.
Rod has over 20 years’ Hospitality Management experience with companies such as the Intercontinental Hotel Group, Accor and most recently Stella Hospitality Group, where he was responsible for the overall performance of nine regional properties within the Peppers brand.
Prior to this Rod worked as a Senior Manager on the Villages Program at the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games 2000 (SOCOG).
