Mac homes in on mining good times

ACCOMMODATION services company for the mining industry Mac Services is reaping the rewards of the booming resources sector, saying it's on track to beat its forecast prospectus profit.

The company, which listed last April, yesterday declared a 65.5 per cent increase in net profit to $9.03 million for the six months which ended on December 31.

Company secretary Stephen Law said Mac was on track to beat its initial public offering forecast of a full-year profit of $16.2 million.
