Our Opportunities
As a progressive and rapidly expanding Company, The MAC offers exciting career opportunities in many areas:
Town Planning, Building Design, Property Development, Infrastructure Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction and Project Management
The ideas for our Villages originate from our Sydney head office where our Strategy team identify and evaluate opportunities. Once the appropriate property has been secured and approvals obtained, the Property Development and Design teams develop the initial concept plan for a new Village into a final design. They complete all the detail necessary for land preparation, infrastructure engineering and building construction.
Site Management, Building Trades & Construction Workers
Each new site is managed by a Site Manager who works closely with the Project Manager for that development. The site Manager is usually supported on site by a Site Foreperson, OH&S/Storeperson as well as carpenters, plumbers, electricians and construction workers.
As the sites are often remotely located, most of our site-based people live away from home on a rotational basis and are provided with free meals and accommodation whilst at work.
Village Management, Village Administration, Catering Management, Chefs, Kitchen Hands, Housekeeping Managers, Housekeepers and Grounds Staff
The MAC Villages can accommodate up to 1,000 guests at any one time. Guests enjoy the benefits of en-suited accommodation, dining areas, taverns and recreational facilities in our landscaped Villages. Our Villages often resemble small towns and one even has an art gallery with its own in-house artist. The MAC Village management and staff maintain all our facilities to the highest standards and ensure our guests’ stay is relaxing and enjoyable. Again some of our Village staff live locally while others live away from home on a rotational basis with meals and accommodation provided.
Operational and Support Staff
The MAC’s additional supporting business units include a legal division, corporate relations, human resource, finance, accounts, information technology and strategy.
